I opened the simulator and choose the iphone 6+ then I went to scheme (Product > Scheme) but there is no way to choose my simulator from here I only see my project. When testing an app in Simulator, it is easiest to launch and run your app in Simulator directly from your Xcode project. Hands down the most beautiful, elegant and functional emulator to ever grace OS X. Xcode is the development and debug environment on the Mac, and provides the required development files for Mac OS X and iOS applications. I try to follow its instructions and It doesnt work. The reason I ask it is that I am having difficulty understanding the instructions in the ios dev library. If any feedback feel free to reach out to me.Sorry, this is a very basic question.

Go to -> Xcode menu -> Open Developer tool -> Simulator As a Mac user you can download and install it for free from App Store.
